Description

The Fully-Automatic Defibrillator is an advanced device from the Stryker family that offers automatic monitoring and a fast response time. As with all AEDs in the Stryker family, when this AED is used to save a life, the company will donate a free PAD to the survivor as part of Stryker’s “Forward Heart’s” program. So far, over 40 PADs have been donated. Note that Fully-Automatic Defibrillators are not very common in Ireland.

  1. What are the benefits of having a HeartSine PAD360P Defibrillator?

     Users may switch on the gadget by pressing a single button, which has a basic, straightforward function. A System Status Ready Indicator appears to indicate that the system is operational and ready for usage. The device performs a self-check once a week. The HeartSine PAD360P defibrillator is compact and lightweight, weighing only 1.1 kg, allowing it to be transferred rapidly in the case of a cardiac arrest.

     The manufacturer’s warranty also covers your device for eight years, so long as you care for the product correctly by following the official requirements.

    HeartSine Gateway is a wireless technology that allows defibrillators to be remotely monitored, eliminating the requirement for a physical inspection. The wireless connectivity also informs users whether the equipment is operational, whether the batteries are about to expire, or whether the device has been used. This feature ensures that your defibrillator is ready to use in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. 

  3. Who can use a defibrillator?

    A defibrillator should be used by experienced personnel or those who have received defibrillator training whenever possible. However, the devices are designed to be used by anyone. The HeartSine PAD360P Defibrillator is easy to operate thanks to the visual and vocal instructions and will guide the user through the process.   4. Can I use the HeartSine PAD360P Defibrillator on children?

    The HeartSine PAD360P Defibrillator is designed to provide life-saving care to people in sudden cardiac arrest, including both adults and children. When treating a child under the age of eight or weighing less than 25 kg, the device has built-in intelligence and a unique paediatric pack to deliver the appropriate energy level. Any patient over 8 or over 25 kg can be treated as an adult. 

    The energy level of the electrical shock does vary between adults and children. See them below:

    Pad-Pak (adults): Shock 1: 150J; Shock 2: 150J; Shock 3: 200J 

    Paediatric-Pak (children): Shock 1: 50J; Shock 2: 50J; Shock 3: 50J
