The Lifepak 1000 should be stored in one of our Defibrillator Storage Units. Once every six months, the Lifepak 1000 should be tested to ensure that it is working properly. The Lifepak 1000 should be serviced by a qualified technician every two years. In the event that the Lifepak 1000 needs to be used, it should be placed on a flat surface, and the pads should be applied to the patient's chest according to the instructions in the manual.
