When a child is under eight or weighs less than 25 kg, a responder should only use the Lifepak CR Plus Paediatric Pads. The pads should be used to deliver treatment to a child who is unconscious and unresponsive. 

You must store your Lifepak CR Plus Paediatric Pads correctly to keep them in working order. The durable packaging protects the pads and has a shelf-life of approximately two years. You should keep your electrode pads in a safe, dry location between 0 and 50 degrees.

 When administering treatment to an adult, the voltage will be 200, 300, and 360 joules. However, when treating a child, the dosage will be 50, 75, and 86 joules. With this in mind, the Lifepak CR Plus Paediatric Pads should only be used on children under eight and weighing no more than 25 kg.
