On the 7th of October, fitness enthusiast Neil O'Brien was running in Meadowbrook, Dundrum when he suffered a cardiac arrest. Thankfully earlier this year, local cardiologist Terence Prendiville installed a Primedic AED at Dundrum FC and arranged training for their members, including Ray Mellon. Ray sprang into action, providing CPR and using the AED to deliver the single shock Neil needed to restore his heart rhythm. This week we presented Neil with a free Primedic AED that Neil is donating to his local neighborhood. Pictured is Neil with his grateful family and with local hero Ray.
