On the 11th of August, 38 year old Keith McDermott suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at work. Thankfully his colleagues sprang into action and retrieved an AED from a nearby business, which had thankfully installed it a few month earlier. Keith received a single shock from the AED to save his life and today we were delighted to present him with a free Lifepak CR2 that he is donating to his workplace. Keith said ‘It’s reassuring to know that if the same thing happens to any of our neighbours, there’ll be an AED nearby’
