On 31st May 2022, the FAI launched phase 3 of the ‘Mrs Brown’s Boys/ FAI Heartcare Programme’. This programme give grassroots soccer clubs access to a subsidised package containing:

• a LIFEPAK CR2 (cellular version) AED defibrillator
• an 8-Year mobile phone data plan (to connect the CR2 to the internet)
• CPR/AED Training for 10 club members.

The subsidised package will be provided to a selected 316 clubs but all FAI clubs can avail of the discounted package and an online fundraising platform to help raise the funds required.

The normal cost of this package is €3645.11 inc VAT but will cost clubs only €2500. Furthermore, the selected 316 clubs will only pay €1250.
